I have been trying this for several months and luckily i keep a double mat to soften blows to spine on over balancing.
It is quite hard for begineers and be extremely careful while you try this.
Tip : 1. Finger , Wrist and Arm strength is important (Personel experience : after training with medium weight dumbell 5kg which i lifted from a side instead of a center grip , My handstand is much better.
2. Nothing good in lif is easy , try and try with patience
3. Be prepared to land badly a few times for free handstand (Ensure you improve body strenth first for this)
Hi, I’m tempted to do this one.
How long is it recommended to maintain this position?
Maybe you could write a post about how to perform this exercise?
Thanks,
Melanie
Hi, Melanie, i think, for beginner, you can maintain this position for about 10-30 seconds, and then as time goes on with your practicing more and more, you can keep longer, up to 1 min or longer. so, don’t worry, and it is very easy.
And of course, i will write a post about how to perform this exercise soon. So just keep waiting, thank you for your time.
